In loving memory of

Robert W. Crozier

Robert (Bob) Crozier after 84 years on this earth, passed away October 8, 2019 from Parkinson's Disease.  He was a long-time resident of Scottsdale, AZ, spending summers in Show Low, AZ.

Bob was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Queens, NY. He was preceded in death by his father John, mother Anna, sister Joan (George) and daughter Denise. He is survived by his wife Lee, his son Craig, grandchildren, Cameron (Amanda), Ashley and Blake, cousin Janet (Robert), niece Debbie, nephew George, grand niece Jehnifer, and grand nephew Scott.

He moved from New York to California, where he started a very successful career in electronics distribution. That work eventually took him to Arizona, where he retired after 40 years of work.  In 1971, he met his soul mate Lee. They were married in 1977 and lived life to the fullest, fulfilling their 'bucket-list' throughout their lives together.

Bob's main life passion was for music, which never ceased. He was a music collector and attended many live concerts, always sitting in the front rows - to make sure that he had the best experience possible.

Bob also loved to travel. Travel often centered on various locations throughout the world and increased after retiring. His interests ranged from Club Med, camping on a beach, to cruising to see the wonders of several foreign countries as well as the USA.

He loved clothes and never missed an opportunity to put on a tuxedo and go dining at the best restaurants and dancing with Lee. Bob was also a friend of "Bill W" for 44 continuous years and touched many lives throughout those 44 years of acceptance and surrender.

In 2001, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and was able to function in a normal manner until the last few years.  He put up a good fight, but could not win.  He threw in the towel and passed peacefully.  His wishes were to stay in his own home where Lee, his wife, could care for him with all her love. Bob donated his brain and body to Banner Sun Health Institute for Parkinson's research.

Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85234. The service will be at 1:00pm with a reception following.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be made in memory of Robert W. Crozier, to the Parkinson Network of Arizona. 240 W Thomas Road, Suite 302, Phoenix, AZ. 85013. Donation link: https://parkinsonnetworkaz.org/

"Lee, You and Bob have always represented true love and devotion to me. The mutual respect and appreciation for one another is something that happens once in a lifetime, and is not guaranteed on our journey. It is such a precious gift and transcends all space and time. Thank you for offering your shared story and allowing a snapshot into the beauty that you and Bob created together. Your dedication as not only his wife, but also generous caregiver as his own experience evolved, is humbling. I will always reflect on the memories created over the years and remember the light he ignited in this world, fondly. With love and reverence, Melanie"

"Our sincere condolences to you Lee, and the rest of Bobs family. It was my honor and pleasure to have been able to spend time with Bob this last year. thank you for that opportunity. His asking me to sponsor him was one of the great honors bestowed on any member of AA with less time of sobriety then the person requesting. We completed the rudimentary 12 steps, developed a group of prayers to pray when we got together, and had some great moment at the theater and at the house over breakfast. You did an amazing job caring for him all these years and I was very glad to have been a part of it in the end. I pray for his soul to Rest In Peace, and for you to enjoy the same amount of peace you gave him. We will keep in touch. Angel and Ilene"
