Sally Ann Martin (Waker) age 63 passed away at home in Glendale, Arizona on Friday, September 13, 2019.
She was born November 24, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Central High School in 1974. She worked many years for Martin Engineering as a civil designer. She also worked and was part owner of the family business, Western Mechanical Air Conditioning Systems, for 33 years.
She loved to travel and explore new areas. She had a passion for animals and thoroughly enjoyed agility training with many of her dogs. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing in the choir at Faith Bible Church. Christmas was her favorite holiday. For many years the family celebrations were at the Martin home where Sally would spend countless hours decorating it into a beautiful wonderland. She was a friend to all and had a smile that would make anyone's day brighter.
Sally was married to the love of her life, William Martin, for 40 years. She was a devoted mother to daughters Kimberly Martin and Treasure Marshall. Grandmother to Tiera Marshall, best friend to sister Mary Hamilton and loving Aunt to her 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 8 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Waker and brother Bob Kowalski.
Services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Faith Bible Church 17230 N. 59th Avenue Glendale, AZ 85308.
