Dale Evan Draeger

Dale Evan Draeger, 71, passed away on July 31st at home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the husband of Patricia Draeger. They shared 20 years together.

Born in New London, Wisconsin, he was the son of Willard and Iris (Krueger) Draeger of Manawa. He graduated from Little Wolf High School and worked as a fuel truck driver for Manawa Co-op until he moved to Silver Lake, Wisconsin in1994.  He then drove fuel semi trucks out of Milwaukee until retirement.

Dale always said, "I do what a Draeger does.....work hard and play hard." He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manawa for many years and served as a member of the City Council. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and B.S.ing with family and friends. He will be remembered for his gregarious personality, humorous storytelling, and  generous willingness to share his opinions and expertise on a variety of subjects.

He is survived by his wife Patricia;  three daughters: Lisa (Scott) Tousey of Oconto, Lea (Jon) Guse of Appleton, and Lori (Ronald) Reeck of DePere; two sons: Dale Jr. (Allison) of WI, and Daniel (Emily) of Lily Lake, IL; two step-sons: Matthew (Sarah) Boyer of Salem and Jason (Nicole) Boyer of Kenosha; thirteen grandchildren: Kalyn, Phillip and Brandon Tousey, Brennan and Jessica Guse, Kyle and Madelyn Reeck, Katlyn Boyer, Kyle Toppel, Justin Fanter,  Hayden, Cameron and Addyson Draeger; three great grandchildren; Zen, Karma and Maceigh; Siblings: Sharon Gilbertson, Jean Huss, Dennis Draeger, Linda Cook, Donald (Linda) Draeger, Duane (Lana) Draeger, David (Mary) Draeger and Douglas (Debra) Draeger; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and many beloved aunts and uncles.

Two Memorial Services will be held in Silver Lake and in Manawa, WI, (dates and times to be determined).
