Thom Morrison and family wrote on Nov 4, 2018:

"Charlie was a wonderful guy. Over the years he and I knew each other, he never failed to impress me with his thoughtfulness and decency. I feel blessed to have had the chance to know him. His passing is a very sad event. But, he leaves behind him a legacy of the type of person we should all be striving to incorporate into ourselves; Honesty, integrity, sincerity, a sense of fairness, and a willingness to help when it is needed. I will miss him, as I know all who new him will. But, I believe he would want those of us who knew and cared about him to continue moving forward with our lives, and to remember him fondly and with admiration. R.I.P. Charlie."

Joe Fahey wrote on Nov 4, 2018:

"Charlie wrote a very nice article about me in an edition of the AZ Rep in 1992. He found me due to my rugby duties at the time ( player , coach and President of the Tempe Old Devil Rugby Club). He was really nice and courteous to me. He will be missed."
