Samuel Hamilton Decross
Samuel Hamilton DeCross passed away suddenly in his home in Tempe on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 26. Sam was born on December 11, 1991 in Glendale, Arizona to Jennifer and Greg DeCross. Sam graduated from Joseph City Junior/Senior High School in 2010, where he was voted class clown. During high school he also worked as a volunteer firefighter. In 2018 Sam launched his own management company, Poor Life Choice Management, for musicians in the Phoenix area. He was well loved in the community of Phoenix artists for his passion, irreverent wit, and ingenuity. Sam will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Jennifer and Greg, sister Jacque, extended family, dear friend Aaron and favorite band and close friends Fairy Bones. A funeral service in memory of Sam will be held at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St in Phoenix at 6pm on Saturday, April 21. There will be a viewing preceding the service. Memorial donations in Sam's name may be sent to the Family School (1127 W. McDowell Rd) or Lifewell Midtown Clinic (3333 N. 7th Ave).
