In loving memory of

Brenda F. Hooper

Brenda F. Hooper peacefully joined the angels in heaven on September 4, 2017.  Brenda was born on September 11, 1960 to Clyde and Mable Whittemore in Beech Grove, Indiana.  Brenda was welcomed at the gate of heaven by her father Clyde who passed in May 1966, her mother Mable who passed in November 1978, her brother Earl Green who passed a few hours after birth in April 1947, her brother Burt who passed in December 1996 and her brother Ed who passed away in July 2017.  Brenda is survived by her husband Bradley Hooper; her brother Gene and sister-in-law Elaine, her sister Debbie and brother-in-law Leroy; and sister-in-law Janet (Burl).  Brenda has one biological child Cassandra Whittemore and four step-children whom she loved as her own.  Michelle Hooper-St. Laurant and husband Joe St. Laurant; Becky Hooper (Havel) and husband Scott Havel; Adam Hooper and wife Amilia Hooper and Emily Hooper.  Brenda was loved by all her children but loved even more by her six grandchildren.  The skies could be gloomy but the smile her grandchildren brought to her face shamed the rising sun.  She is loved by Alazara Whittemore; Lindsey St. Laurant; April Hooper; Briana Hooper, Olivia Hooper and Lilliana Hooper.  Brenda moved to Arizona in 1973 where she lived as a single parent never giving up hope and always staying strong.  She then met her husband Bradley while working together at U. S. Express.  They were married in 2000 in the LDS chapel and  started numerous businesses together.  Brenda was active with her church and an amazing leader.  Brenda was an unconditional animal lover.  She loved her dogs like they were her children.  She has left behind Squeekers, Mama Leigha, Winnie and Bud.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Brenda's name to the Arizona Humane Society at http//www.azhumane.org/got-involved/give-now/.  To all who knew and loved Brenda we invite you to join us for a visitation and memorial service to say  see you later to a loyal, loving kind and generous woman.  A Memorial Gathering will from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 North 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ  85020.

"It saddens me deeply to know she is gone. She has truly touched so many lives including my own. Weather is was marriage advice for a newly wed in my time or need, advice on parenting or supporting me with uplifting messages. Brenda I truly miss you and wish I was there more to see you before you were gone. I will never forget you."
