Brenda, "Mimi", 65, passed away May 6, 2017. Brenda was born to the late William and Mildred Gerteisen of Owensboro Ky. She was a hard working mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt with a strong presence and independent spirit. She enjoyed cooking with her grandchildren, live music, playing bingo, doing puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Bill and spouse Glenda Gerteisen, Jordan and spouse Mary Gerteisen, David "Tootie" and spouse Tina Gerteisen, 3 sisters, Becky and spouse Jerry Johnson, Gail Wiggs, Sue and spouse Mike Riccitelli, 1 child, Wendie and spouse Scott Wetzell, 7 grand children, Mackenzie, Chandler, Noah, Sabrina, Connor, Maeson and Samari, 3 step grandchildren, Keef, Chase and Casey and 1 Great Granddaughter, Dilyn.
She was one of a kind and left an impression on many lives. She is loved very much and will be terribly missed.
