Salvatore J. Peri, "Sal", 76, of Scottsdale, AZ died Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born October 22, 1939. Sal was originally from Chicago, IL. He was surrounded by love. His daughters and son-in-law were with him when he passed. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Joe Peri; his sisters, Rosemarie Alongi, Jean Hill & Mary DiMaggio; his children, Kimberly Lindenmeyer, Christopher Peri, Susanne Gunther and his grandchildren, Gessica, Gina, Teresa, Emmiline, Alexx, Dominick and Angela along with his friend and ex-wife, Rita Peri. Sal was a wonderful and incredibly great man who had many friends. He will be missed by many both here in Arizona and in his hometown Chicago. He will be cherished always. Sal was an accomplished runner who completed many marathons. He was known for his business savvy, his passion for philanthropy, kind heart, the love for his family, his generosity and most of all, his wonderful smile that would light up an entire room. Memorial Service for Sal will be from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 with a short service and prayer at 11:00 am. There will be a reception directly afterwards at the home of Kimberly Lindenmeyer from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. A service will occur in Chicago at a date later to be determined. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
