"Bob, you were truly one of a kind. That's what I thought when I first went to work for Kuhl's and was assigned to your job way back in 83. I'm proud to have known you and been your friend all these years. It was always entertaining and never boring to say the least. I'm sure if you're reading this, you're thinking about how you'd have said it much differently (and better). That's why we loved you. Rest in peace, brother. Say Hi to your Pop for me. Hope you guys have a nice project going already. You won't be forgotten."

As a co-worker of Bob's at Hospice of the Valley, I will never forget how he came to help with event setup this year (as he had done so many years) but this time he was weak from his illness and not at all expected to help. I was so humbled when Bob walked in the room, what a heart of gold."

He was always a confident person without being arrogant towards anyone. I couldn"t be more thankful for the chance to have known him and the friends that he considered close to him. No body can say that about Bob, he was the best of the best and the fact that I was able to learn from him for the past 20 years only make me wish I would have met him earlier. I know that many will miss him for everything he did but I will miss him for who he was....even in his passing he showed us strenght.Thanks for everything you have showed me....I only hope to be as strong a person as you have been."

"I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Bob's passing. I will always remember the fun times we shared when I visited there years ago. Hanging out with Bob was to expect the unexpected and knowing you are about to have the time of your life. I still remember the occasion we "borrowed" Uncle Paul's boat and he patiently took on the task of trying to teach me to water ski. Bob was a special cousin, a friend, a "big brother", a class act. "Bob was a great guy who knew how to fix (and build) anything. When I first moved to Phoenix, Bob helped me when I got into jams?broken sprinkler system, jammed car trunk lid, etc. He had a knack for figuring things out and always came up with a solution. Bob had a cheery personality and was quick with a smile and laughter. I have wonderful memories of us playing cards, waterskiing and parasailing, vacationing in the Bahamas and Las Vegas, and sitting around numerous campfires. It?s a privilege to have known him for over 45 years. He will be missed."

"I am deeply saddened by the the news Of Bob's passing. I have known Bob for as long as he has been with HOV . I work in one of the PCU's he would do maintenance . We had many conversations about riding motorcycles as my husband and I ride too. Bob was one of the most kindest people I have ever met, I really appreciated all his knowledge and tips he gave me so I could keep things working in our building, as the guys were so busy !
