Daniel A. Peralta, 75, of Scottsdale, AZ, was called to eternal rest on May 21, 2016. He was born in St. Johns, AZ to Albert and Rebecca Peralta. Daniel enlisted with the Marine Corps in 1958, training at Camp Pendleton and serving in Guam and Vietnam. On Guam, he met the love of his life Lolaine, and they were married on February 13, 1960. Daniel served with the 1st Marine Division as a pistol and rifle sharpshooter and with the Ontos Antitank Battalion. Returning to civilian life, he worked at Airesearch, Garrett, and Allied Signal/Honeywell for 30+ years. Daniel touched lives wherever he went, making lifelong friends. A devoted Catholic, he was active in his parish of Blessed Sacrament. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Rebecca, and siblings, Albert, Peter, and Rhonda. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Lolaine G. Peralta, son Daniel Peralta, daughter Melissa Wist, grandchildren Sarah and Trevor Wist, and Jordyn Peralta; siblings Eddy Leal, Ralph and Frank Peralta, Effie Bond, and numerous nieces and nephews. The viewing is from 5:00-8:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell, Scottsdale 85254. The Mass will take place at 10:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th Street, Scottsdale 85254. Burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 23015 N.
