"While at party with a number of fluid power and automation people in 96 or 97... Tom and I crossed paths. We chatted for a bit and got on the subject of the Arizona Cardinals, who had only been in town for a few years. It was known that Tom had NFL abilities and aspirations so I casually mentioned to him that the neighbor across the street from me (while growing up) was a fella George Flint. George played for the Buffalo Bills. After mentioning that, Tom stops talking... stares at me and says no sh-t... you know George Flint?? That seemed odd but I said heck yeah, George used to throw the the football around with me. Tom then went into a long diatribe about George Flint being his NFL mentor and that George and other NFL players saw promise in him as a player. We stopped chatting (me anyways) and Tom went on and on about George and his assistance and what he meant to him in the days where NFL was part of his heart\'s desire. It\'s funny how a single name from the past drove such memories and his bonding with George. Tom and I chatted about that moment of time for him on a number of occasions. Tom would have liked to pursue a professional NFL career but I believe he had permanent knee damage that prevented him from being competitive. But the mear spark of hearing George\'s name sent him into an hours worth of football chat and you could tell he left something dear behind. There were times that I did not want to bring that up as it dominated the conversation....lol"

"He will be missed. He was a big teddy bear. I got to know him so much more not only from family get togethers but he also would visit my work often and I would get him in to see the purchasing agents. He was a very kind man. Hugs to the Reynolds family."

"I have many fond memories of my friend, Tommy, and the experiences we shared together. Too many to recount here, but even in the most difficult and dangerous circumstances they were always punctuated by his incredible humor, wit, intelligence, and bird- and animal calls. Few memories were as indelible as the afternoon a group of us went swimming in the old Cross-Cut canal, with plans of floating downstream to the Biltmore Resort. Waiting under the 40th Street bridge, an officer peered over the railing and yelled down to us in the shadows: ?Who?s down there?!? Tommy lead the chorus before we disappeared downstream: ?Nobody but us ducks, quack, quack, quack . . . ? On many more serious occasions, Tommy never failed to lighten the burden, whether we were working stooped labor picking melons or surveying the Mojave Desert during blistering summers in Blythe, California or, dousing ourselves with fire hoses before charging into walls of burning timber fighting forest fires in Alaska?s Kenai Peninsula. One hot August afternoon during football practice, we were scrimmaging in full pads and helmets. Most of us were faint from the heat. Coach Nunez yelled at us. ?Reynolds and . . . All I want to see are backs and elbows!? Undersized varsity linemen, I looked over at the left guard and still remember my friend Tommy?s smiling face. As I do now. So long friend."

"My life would never have been the same without my beloved brother. Until I got to first grade no one realized I was practically blind, so I just followed behind Toto and did what he did. It got me in trouble sometimes, (a lot) but he was my rock. Later in grade school and high school he paved the way for me. People would say \"Oh, you\'re Tom Reynolds sister\" and viola! I was in. We didn\'t tattle on each other, and we had no rivalries all our lives. We shared houses, friends and experiences throughout the years. We were hippies together, adventuring free spirits, and he was kind to me and protective. It doesn\'t get better than that. I\'ll miss my brother, his twinkling smile, his wink when he was being naughty, and his mellow voice, \"Hi, sis, it\'s Toto.\" Tomas always did what he thought was right, a good man through and through. December 6 was a bad day for me, but it was God\'s lucky day because he got Toto back."
