Robert Henson
Robert W. Henson, 74, of Scottsdale, AZ went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2015. He was born July 2, 1941 in Stewart, Mississippi. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving 24 years with the USAF, receiving many commendations including the Bronze Star. He also served the Phoenix Police Department for 24 years. He earned a BSE degree from Delta State University and Masters Degree from NAU where he was a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Robert was a loving husband of over 51 years, a wonderful father and a proud grandfather. He is survived by his mother Earlene Wise, wife Betty, son Jeff (Sydney) Henson, daughter Susan Henson and grandson Chad, and many cousins, nieces, nephews in-laws and wonderful friends. A 'Celebration of Robert's Life' will be held Saturday August 22nd at 11am at North Phoenix Baptist Church.
