"Leon and I were saddened to read Steve\'s obituary in the Sunday paper this morning but thankful we are aware of his service as we will make every effort to attend. Steve was one of a kind in his gentle unassuming ways. A real gentleman, good friend and unselfish with his time to do good for so many charities and good causes. Both Leon and I have great memories of Steve and his mule \"Spook\" going on so many Comanchero trail rides and events. He will be missed but remembered fondly."
