Billy Cromer

Bill, 81, passed away in Glendale, AZ on March 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell Sage and Jeffie Maureen (Iles) Cromer. Bill was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He joined the Air Force in 1954 and served in the Korean War. Bill and Edith, and their sons, moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978. Bill was active at North Phoenix Baptist Church and then later Calvary Community Church. Bill was employed and retired from Honeywell Aerospace.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to their cabin. He is survived by his wife Edith (Walden) and their sons Bryan (Denise), Jeff (Christina) and Glen (Becky); as well as six grandchildren, Ashley, Adam, Joshua, Courtney, Mitchell, Jake; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua (JJ), Sophia and Vincent. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020. The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to www.freewheelchairmission.org or the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
