"Shauna, I was shocked and saddened to just hear of your loss. My deepest condolences to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless."
Frank H. Jones, Jr. passed away quietly in his home on January 6, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Shaun "Shauna" M. (Olsen) Jones, his parents Frank H. Jones, Sr. and Diann M. (Lewis) Jones; one sister Lynnette M. Jones, his mother-in-law, Joyce F. (Drake) Neil (James "Butch" Bambary), his aunt and uncle Pat (Lewis) and Kenneth Marsh, Allene (Owen) and John Jones; both of Geneva, New York - as well as several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Three nephews - Sergio F. Whittall, Robert Adair, and Asa L. Day; four nieces - Danielle and Crystal Adair, Erica M. Owen and Brianna Owen-Keltner; two sister-in-laws - Tammy L. (Olsen) Owen and Renee F. (Olsen) Day (Van A. Johnson); one brother-in-law - Jerry A. Owen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra J. (Jones) Adair and both Paternal and Maternal grandparents..
Frank graduated in 1985 from Geneva High School in Geneva, New York. He went into the United States Army in 1986 and served his country until 1988. He recently obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business from Wayland Baptist University in February of 2014. He was in the process of completing his Masters in Public Administration from the same school.
Frank had several passions in life, first and foremost his beloved wife Shauna, and his family and many friends. Beyond that, some of those passions included touring the countryside on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle - especially when mapping out road trips with his two favorite Posse members - Shauna and their very special friend Connie Glancy; running marathons, Ragnar Relays and Tough Mudder events, cycling and participating in Century Rides, and helping others. He raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through his running and cycling, and loved coaching for Team in Training of Arizona especially with Coach Gary, as well as volunteered at the Andre House of Hospitality with Shauna.
Frank made an impression on everyone that he met. His fierce loyalty, unwavering love, support, and quick wits were enough to reel you in and keep you as a friend for life. Frank loved his job. He worked for the City of Phoenix, and spent most of his 14 years in the Public Works Solid Waste Field Services Division. Frank had just been promoted in October 2014 to Operations Manager in the Solid Waste Disposal Division. He was full of try and drive that radiated from him, and he always strived to make everyone around him feel special. He will be remembered, especially throughout the running and cycling community, as the type of person who always encouraged others to do their best and beyond.
The celebration of Frank's beautiful life will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Hansen's Mortuary Chapel; 8314 North 7th Street, Phoenix AZ 85020. The family has asked that condolences be sent in the form of donations to his two favorite charities: the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org), or the Andre House of Hospitality (www.andrehouse.org).

"We have just learned of Frank\'s passing. We are deeply saddened and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time. I know that as we grieve his passing on earth, he is already working on our behalf in heaven."
"Shauna and family, words cannot describe how much I and the rest of the world will miss Frank. He was one of the kindest, generous, and most genuine souls I\'ve ever met. Frank lived life with passion and excitement, which was contagious and spread to all of those around him. He legitimately wanted good things for everyone, rolled with the punches of what life gave to him, and cared for others unconditionally. I met Frank back in 2009 as a participant in Team in Training, and continued to remain close running buddies with him up until this last year, when life led me down a path of a little less running. Out of everyone, Frank was the most active in keeping up communication and expressing the belief that we?d get back to the close running relationship we had before. This was a clear demonstration of Frank?s ?can do? attitude and I will think of him always with happy thoughts. My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone during this time of heartbreak, but I take solace in knowing that we will see Frank again once we leave our mortal coils behind, and we\'ll finally get that next run in together. Love you all."
"Shauna and family - Our most heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you.
