Dolores Romo, 87, a wife, mother, grandmother has gone to be with the Lord, November 27, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Phoenix First Apostolic Church, 749 E. Baseline Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85042. Dolores Romo was born on November 18, 1927 in Gilbert, AZ. She resided in Phoenix. Survivors include her children, Gilbert Romo, Alicia Franco, and Frank Romo, Jr.; and sister, Lydia Espinoza. She had 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Frank Romo, Sr. and her daughter, Armida Romo.

"I never had the pleasure of meeting Dolores; the closest I got was spending quality time with her son Gilbert. It is said that you can often tell much about a son from the mother and vice-versa. My guess is that Dolores is the source of Gilbert\'s compassion and gentleness. My family\'s prayers go out to the Romo family."
