Aubrey Thomas

Aubrey K. "Bud" Thomas, 86, of Phoenix, AZ died Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born on November 11, 1927 in Detroit, MI and enlisted in the Navy during World War II. After the war he worked in sales, management and in the newspaper business. In his later years he touched many lives working in the funeral home business both in Florida and Arizona, working to 83 years of age. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen and sons, Glenn and Thomas. Survivors include his companion, Elaine Montevechi; his children, Kathleen Boykin, Cynthia Coniam (William), Anne Rolling (Roderick), Joan Cain (Brian); five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 13, 2014 at St. James Roman Catholic Parish, 19640 N. 35th Ave., Glendale. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 23015 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015 or Hospice of the Valley at hov.org in memory of Bud Thomas.
