Theresa Orlick

Theresa J. Orlick, nee Marino, died July 20, 2014 at Scottsdale Memory Care. She was 89.Theresa was born in 1924 in Milwaukee, one of nine children of Gaetano and Lena Marino. A graduate of Lincoln High School, she worked at Wisconsin Bell before marrying her first husband, Julio Bertolas in 1946. Following his death, Theresa worked at Shorewood High School until meeting and marrying Thomas Orlick in 1954. Tom and Theresa had one daughter, Terry, on whom they doted. They were married for 52 years at the time of Tom's passing in 2006. Theresa loved being a wife and mother, and her life revolved around family. Serious health problems marred her later years, but she never lost her love of her family, church and laughter. She is survived by her much-loved daughter, Terry and most-precious son-in-law, Joe Pokorski, special niece and god daughter Virginia Anselmi , sister Antinette Semrau, brother Peter Marino as well as many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Desert Southwest Chapter at www.alz.org/dsw/.
