"Dear Daniel, my beloved son. Words can not describe the emptiness left in my heart by you leaving us all too soon. From the moment you were born you have been the love of my life and will always be. One of my most precious moments is when you asked me to be your date at your last Marine Corps. ball in 2008 in California. I know the pain you were in son, and I feel great solace knowing that you are at peace with all of that now. There will never be a day that goes by that I will not think of you and all the wonderful times we shared. \"Bubba\" I will love you always! Mom"
