In loving memory of

Theodore Myers

Theodore Richard Myers, 69, of Scottsdale Arizona, died in a Scuba Diving Incident in Belize, CA on May 1, 2013. Ted was born in Elyria,Ohio on April 30, 1944. He grew up on a dairy farm in North Ridgeville, Ohio with 3 siblings, Don, Tom and Kathy. Those early days taught Ted that when he became an adult he wanted to get as far away from the working end of a cow as soon as possible, which he succeeded in doing. He graduated Kettering University in Flint, Michigan with an Engineering degree and University of Chicago with his Business degree. Ted became a resident of sunny Arizona about 40 years ago, and eventually bought the company he still ran until he died, Micro Hybrid Dimensions. The business was the love of his life until he met his wife, Connie Eich in 2006. His life changed in every way for the better because of their love. Ted was honest to a fault, a humanitarian, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. If there was a bad pun to be made, you could count on him to make it. He was fiercely independent, but kind and generous to a fault. Ted enjoyed many outdoor pursuits with fishing, camping, pig hunting, and hiking being at the forefront. Travel was also a passion of his and he and Connie shared many adventures together. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Ted is survived by his wife, Ruby (Connie) Eich; his children, Shannon Nevin, Melanie Eich and Catilin Ellis; his brothers, Thomas Myers, of Tucson, AZ, and Donald Myers of Stoney Ridge, Ohio; nephews, Matthew Fish, Don Paul Myers and Marcus Fish and his niece, Mariann Horgan. Ted also left behind Aunt Evelyn and many, many cousins. Visitation will be held from 11AM-12 noon, with funeral service at 12 noon, Saturday, May 11, 2013, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Food Bank, 2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix, AZ,85009.

"I admire Ted for the way he led his life. Once he met and married you, Connie, he became even more remarkable. I learned so much during the 17 years I knew him. I sensed the special magic you both shared from the pictures I saw of your family and your adventures. You?ve touched my life forever, Ted, as you obviously did for so many others. I?m going to miss you, old friend, but I?ll never forget you. Chuck Bailey "

"Ted- It was obvious to all that you made Connie truly happy, and you were happy doing so. You were a great pair, and you were taken far too early. I\'m sure that you will be missed by all who knew you for any length of time--just that kind of guy.... Carl Gotch "
