"Larry and I worked at U S West many years ago and he taught me how to engineer all of the weird stuff our customers needed. We use to have \"team\" engineering meetings on the Rebel, South Lake Union. Larry sure loved that boat! Larry would often talk about his family, kids, softball tournaments, audio visual shows and many many other topics. Prayers to you Kaye and your family. Larry will be missed by many people he influenced in Seattle..."

"We have known Kaye and Larry since our girls attended benson hill elementary many years ago. We were involved in PTA together. Through the years we have maintained a friendship. I remember larry calling from best buys to inform us they had a WII. That was the year there was a run on them. He bought one for us so our daughter would have it christmas morning. Last year was our first trip to arizona and we were able to visit with Kaye and Larry a couple times. Our heart goes out to kaye and kim and our thoughts and prayers are with you. "Well thanks to Kim, I knew Larry for 20+ years. Still some of my fondest memories to this day were when we went to visit Larry and Kaye during the summers. I loved hanging out with Captain Larry on his boat, he seemed to be the happiest when he was tooling around on the water...and terrifying. You better tie the boat down properly or you might find your butt overboard...the man loved his boat!
He always made me laugh whether by his sharp wit or hearing his infectious laugh, he was so much fun to be around. He was very kind and generous; made me feel like I was part of the family...but kept calling me Lolita...inside joke but I\'m sure he appreciates it.
He will be missed by many. Love you Captain Larry!

"I hope you are smiling down as you see all the beautiful people who have extended so much love and support to Mom and I during this time. These amazing family and friends are a testament to how you touched others and how friends and family were so important to you.
I have deepness sadness that you are gone, but I can\'t help but to feel more lucky than sad because I got you call you Dad. You were always there for me.
Love,
Kim K"

"Larry and I worked, side by side at USWEST, before the changes.
Always, he was more cheerful than me, always having more fun.
Though we lost time, lost distance, lost activities, Larry rubbed off his smile and cheerful nature onto me-- which I will wear every day. When it wears thin, I think of Larry.
We argued the boat vs: motorhome decision -- like two boys in a dorm room,
each with strong opinion. Finally won him over and darn it, never got to have
the face to face wrap up.
I am very happy that he had a few years of retirement, wandering & was surrounded by
friends and family. Rest in peace my friend.
Rick "

"We are neighbors of Larry and Kaye and have so much enjoyed getting to know them since we became neighbors 3 yrs. ago here in our adult community. We will miss walking by their house and seeing Larry taking an afternoon snooze in the shade of their beautiful courtyard. Will also miss Larry riding around in the golf court looking for Kaye when we were out for a long walk in the neighborhood. He would always smile and say, \"I\'m not checking up on her, I\'m just out for a stroll\". Larry had such a wonderful sense of humor. It has been a blessing knowing Larry for the past 3 yrs. and he will be greatly missed."
