"Eleanor and Suzette- What a great man! I truly enjoyed every time we were able to get together and I wished there could have been more. He will be missed. You have my deepest sympathies. Doc Oz"
Richard R. Sirois, 12-19-42-1-13-13 Richard "Dick" Sirois was called home by our heavenly father after a short battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by parents Lorette and Ludger, sister Connie, survived by his loving family, wife Eleanor, children Richie and Suzette, and numerous family and friends. Raised in Lewiston Maine, Dick joined the military as a naval corpsman and honorably served his country in Vietnam, receiving a purple heart. He met the love of his life Eleanor, at Cardinal Spellmans Serviceman’s Club in New York City, and was married in 1966. Earning a Business Degree from N.Y.U., moved his family to Phoenix in 1975, where he he worked as a computer programmer/analyst and web developer, and professor at GCC. A member of the JC’s, he provided years of community service. He volunteered his time at AZ Animal Welfare League. Upon retirement, Dick returned to school at Anthem College to pursue his passion "animals" and graduated Valedictorian of his class as a Veterinary Technician. A constant comedian, he filled the lives of family and friends with laughter and joy. We were all better for having known him! Dick touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with him and the world will be less beautiful without him. We love you Daddy...spread your wings and fly.
