"Bev was an important role model for us at Southside Church and enjoyed our partnership with you both in music and small group learning and activities. We have appreciated your continued connection with us since moving to Alaska and Phoenix. It was special to sing next to Bev and it helped me to grow musically and participate in Tri City church choir concerts. You both had such kindness toward us and we remember the beautiful flower bouquet sent to us in honor of our 40th Anniversary. Medical science doesn’t have all the answers to cancer but you certainly gave Bev all the treatments that were available. We send our prayers and love, David and Elsie Dodd Richland, WA"

"Old friends are ones never to be forgotten. I am sorry, indeed, to lose this one. Bev and I probably met in a class or classes in Richland, WA and at about the same time became friends with her and Jim at Southside Church where we not only worshiped and had great times together in Youth Fellowship there. She sang at my wedding in 1955. Later on our daughters became friends also at Southside. Though we have not seen each other often in the past 50 some years wet have always kept in touch. We hope Jim will continue to do so. We know all of you have suffered a great loss. You are in our hearts and prayers. Dorothy & Vern McGhan ."
