"Hello Carl, I’m so sorry to learn of Bea’s passing. She was so much fun to travel with. I’ll never forget her fascination with the hillsides of yellow flowers in New Zealand as we rode the train. How many pictures of them?! You were great traveling companions in Brazil and the Baltic countries as well. I didn’t realize you have been to 60 countries. What wonderful memories you must have! I’ve missed seeing you both at our meetings. My condolences to you and your family. Peace be with you. Marian Sparks"

"I am so sorry to hear of Bea’s passing. I remember her from the days out at Rolland Moore Park. She was a lovely woman and I know how special she was to all of you, as well as how special you were to her. My mother, Lillian, also remembers Bea from the tennis courts and asked me to express her deepest sympathies to you. You are a wonderful family and we do send our love and prayers, especially during this sad time."
