In loving memory of

Connie Frautschi

Cherished wife, mother and grandmother, Constance Thornton Frautschi of Cave Creek, high school sweetheart and wife of Edward J. Frautschi for more than 51 years, died surrounded by the love of her husband on October 28, 2011 at Sherman House Hospice Center. Born in Oak Ridge, TN, on January 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles D.W. and Dakota W. Thornton. Constance was an active member of The Apostolic Christian Church, lead many women's bible study groups, a leader of Girl Scouts for 11 years, volunteer at KFLR Family Radio, stewardess and ticket agent for United Airlines, and office manager for her husband's Farmers Ins Agency for many years. Later in life she felt a calling to help minister to the sick through healing touch and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. When she visited, she arrived with her massage table to help relieve the stresses and pains of others. She truly healed with her hands and always at no cost to her clients. She felt this was her ministry and an honor to God. All her life she was the whole family caregiver. She is survived by her children and grandchildren Heather and Chris (Dakota and Sierra) Thorpe of Phoenix, Christopher and Laurel (Ryan Parsons and Wyatt Frautschi) Frautschi of Peoria, IL, Stephanie and Tony (Victoria, Amber, and Lydia Schlatter and Dillon Williams) Williams of Cookeville, TN, siblings Darlene (Dick) Watkins of Potomac, MD, Charles (Heidrun) Thornton of Cape Coral, FL, Janice (Dick) Olsen of Ashville, NC, and Holly (Arthur) Altieri of Milford, CT, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at Hansen's Mortuary at 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale from 5:30 - 8:30 pm and a funeral service will be held at The Apostolic Christian Church at 9230 N. 26th St, Phoenix, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at 10:00 am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley (www.hov.org) or the Apostolic Christian church.

"Dear Ed and Family, I’m so sorry to hear of Connie’s passing. May God bless and comfort you and your family in this very difficult time. In time, some of your grief will be replaced with the good memories you shared with your dear wife and family. I still remember the good times we had together with our respective families in Northern Ohio many years ago. Now both of our dear wives are with the Lord (next month it will be seven years since Kathy died). Again, my most sincere sympathy! Carl"
