Charles V. Dobrescu, of Glendale, AZ was cleared for eternal flight on September 18, 2011 at the age of 84. Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a retired TWA Captain. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen & Andy Dauscher of Lake Tahoe, NV and Danielle & Scott Bohall of Glendale, AZ, grandchildren, Christopher Kelly, Jessica Bohr, Carleigh Dauscher, Alexandra Dauscher , Jillian Dauscher, Carissa Bohall and Blaze Bohall, and sister Florence Hall. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Schill Dobrescu. Memorial service will be held at 12:30pm, Friday, September 23rd at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ.
