John Otto
Dr. John Otto, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away November 28, 2010, at the age of 82. Dr. Otto was born in Amsterdam, Ohio, and was a family practice physician with his own practice in Copley, Ohio for 33 years. After moving to Arizona in 1990, Dr. Otto practiced an additional 6 years. John was a graduate of Ohio University (pre-med) and graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force. John enjoyed music and U.S. History, but his true love was his family. John is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Otto; daughters, Beth Miller (Joe), Kim Knapp (Ken), Beth Barnes and Lisa Otto; sons, John Pecimon (Donna) and John Spencer "Bubby" Otto; beloved grandchildren, Kade, Courtney, Colton, Emily, Billy, Brooke and Brandon of Phoenix. He is also survived by grandchildren, Alicia, Brad, Christie and Nonya; great grandchildren, Isaac, Olivia, Lauren, Julia and Justina; brothers, Albert and Robert of Ohio. John was a very kind and loving man and he will be greatly missed. John was preceded in death by wife, Joan Zickefoose Otto along with four brothers and three sisters. Donations in his memory may be made to Chandler-Gilbert ARC (Arizona Retarded Citizens) 3250 N. San Marcos Place, Chandler, AZ 85225. Private services have been held.
