Virginia Loretta Schaffer

Virginia Loretta Schaffer, 85, passed away on 08/11/10 at the Beatitude Campus of Care. Born 10/31/24 in Phoenix, Arizona to an early pioneer family, she was the youngest of 6 sisters. Virginia graduated with honors from ASU and taught school for 27 years in the Washington School district. A few of her many accomplishments include being a published writer and winner of numerous awards for her arts and crafts projects. Proceeded in death by her son, Frank E. Schaffer III, survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank E. Schaffer Sr., her daughter Susan Schaffer Martin, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower St., Phoenix, Arizona 85014. Private services have been held.
