"Chuck and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. We were a young married couple that had the great fortune to live next door to your parents and big wonderful family for several years. We learned many things from your parents and still speak of them today. One particular trick your parents liked to play on unsuspecting people was to place them in charge of the famous Schermann Christmas List. We have wonderful memories of dinners together and holidays together. They are together again and having so much fun together..as only Tom and Marlene could whether all by themselves... or in a room full of family and friends. Chuck and Sandy Boothe"

"My condolences to all of you. I have some terrific memories of your mom, some I will cherish forever and then some I am sure we would all like to forget, but none that I would trade for a minute. What a great time we had at the "Scherman’s", and your mom was a big part of that. From playing out in front, "Kick the can", "Ditch em"...to the trips to Mexico, your mom put her special touch on all of it. She made a wonderful family and she is loved!!! Love you all, especially to Bonnie, my First Best Friend!!!"
