In loving memory of

Lee Wooley

Our beloved Lee, age 64, passed away with dignity after battling an acutely aggressive illness, on March 19, 2010 while in the kind care of Hospice of the Valley. He is survived by his wife Pat, their children from prior marriages: Cristopher and Justin Wooley and Jennifer Hill, his mother Vivian Myrick, his sister Jodi Stewart, his favorite aunt Dee Turner and his lovable crested mutts Chyna & Betsy. Born in Yakima WA, Lee landed in Arizona as a pre-teen. His years on the Show Low ranch honed his love of animals and geology & earned him bragging rights of being a real Arizona cowboy. Lee graduated high school at the New Mexico Military Institute, Roswell, NM. He served with honor in the Navy for four years with his last assignment being on the USS Vulcan out of Norfolk VA. Lee worked in many fields throughout his life, including but not limited to having his own business, salesman and trainer, motivational speaker, desktop logistics management for Honeywell and last as Fulfillment Center Supervisor & International Shipper for Blackboard. His strong work ethic that started as a boy with his first paper route was an example to all of his commitment to excellence and his determination not to be outdone. Lee was the happiest when at home enjoying pro & college football, watching the history channel, especially of military hardware, Jeopardy & working crossword puzzles with his honey and the dogs at his feet.
