Albertus Knoll
Knoll, Albertus 91, of Phoenix AZ, passed away while peacefully sleeping at home, on Febuary 13, 2010. He was born in Holland, MI on March 4, 1919. Preceded in death by wife Lillian in 2008, daughter Peggy in 1973, 2 brothers James of Holland, MI in 2005. and Gradus of Graafschap MI in 2007. Survivors include 8 children; Gary of Modesto CA, Dorothy of New Virginia IA, Alan of Mesa AZ, Roger of Surprise AZ, Merrilyn of Black Canyon City AZ, Karolyn of Mesa AZ, Brian of Phoenix AZ, and Dennis of Phoenix AZ. 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grand children, 3 sisters: Grace Harthorn of Holland MI, Francis Kruithoff of Holland MI, and Marion Harshburger of Lions MI, 1 brother; Harold of Quartzsite AZ. Albertus was married for 69 years. His family owned a Turkey Hatchery in early years in Michigan. He was a beekeeper, worked at Reynolds aluminum for a while, and a variety of other jobs along his lifetime. Services are private. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
