John Carl Larson
Larson, John Carl 31 of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away on February 9, 2010. John was born in Phoenix, AZ on August 25, 1978 to parents Scott Marvin and Laura Lee (Carlson) Larson. He was in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood Army Base in Texas. As an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, John loved his country. He was proud to serve in the United States Army, preserving the freedoms he valued more than life. He is survived by his parents, his wife Lila Larson, daughter Megan Larson, son Joshua Larson; brothers Benjamin, David and Phillip Larson; sisters Mary Lee, Kathy Gardner, Rebecca Barnard and Kaylyn Kempton. Funeral service will be at 3 pm, Saturday, February 13, 2010 with visitation one hour prior at the Cactus View Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 214 West Grovers. Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road.
