Dorothy Evelyn Burbridge, 86, Phoenix, passed away on February 4, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born on April 30, 1923, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Hans and Tressa (Shaw) Heiberg, where she lived until 1965. She resided in Anaheim, CA from 1965 until her move to Phoenix over 15 years ago. Dorothy lived the past 5 years at Fellowship Square, Phoenix, where she leaves many beloved friends. She retired after 30 years working for AT&T Communications. For about 5 years she worked in accounting for Knotts Berry Farm and said it was one of her most fun jobs! She was a member of Bethany Bible Church and had many friends there. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor (1983), Brother Bob Heiberg and son-in-law Eugene Jacobsen. She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Jacobsen and Teresa Donofrio (Charles), son David Burbridge, brother Richard Heiberg, sisters Virginia Wright (Orville) and Mary Phillips (William), sister-in-law Beulah Heiberg, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010, 11:30 am at Bethany Bible Church 6060 7th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Interment will be on Saturday, February 13, 2010, 2:00 pm at Loma Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Fullerton, CA where she will be laid to rest by her beloved Victor. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phx 85014.
