Patricia Ann Baker

Baker, Patricia Ann 66, passed away on January 18, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Her family was by her side. She was born on July 27, 1943, in Independence, Missouri to Russell and Velma (Barnard) Hughes. She has lived in Arizona for over 50 years. She worked as a customer service rep for Lundell Insurance Agency. She attended Black Mountain Baptist Church. Before her illness she served on the Board for Prison Ministeries. She was a lifelong member and counselor with Weight Watchers. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, David, daughter Elizabeth Ann (James) Ruddell, son David Jr. (Tammera), brother Michael A. Hughes (Bobbi), sister Cathy Francis (Mike), grandchildren Amanda Lynn and Christina Elizabeth Kostelny, Caitlyn Patricia Blake, and Aerin and Logan Baker. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010, 5-7pm at Hansen Mortuary 8314 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010, 10:00am (with viewing an hour prior) at Black Mountain Baptist Church 33955 N. Cave Creek Rd. Cave Creek, AZ. "Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Your peace is in her Lord Jesus Christ. She is in Heaven a perfect place with no pain or sorrow. She is completely made full now. I know it will be very hard for a long time, but know you have friends that love you and are here for you. I love you Elizabeth.
