In loving memory of

Jean J. Montgomery

94, was born to Hugh and Maud Clement on March 19, 1917 in North Loup, Nebraska and left this earth February 19, 2012 in Scottsdale, Aizona. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Montgomery, daughter Patricia Williams, son Monte Sheldon, her parents, two sisters, two brothers and a first husband, Boyd Sheldon. She is survived by a daughter Diane Lutz, son-in-laws James Williams and Frank Lutz, sisters Molly Bellis and Joan Klug, brothers Garis and Steve Clement, grandchildren Andrew and Scott Williams, Jean Stout, Michael Lutz, Jessica Kanters, Chad and Corrie Sheldon, great granchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her family loved her but nothing could truly make up for the loss of Art, her beloved husband and dance partner. They moved to each other’s rhythm not only on the dance floor but in life. Together they could overcome everything but the toll that time took on their bodies. At the end, she no longer looked at her life through the failed lenses of her eyes, but with the clarity of memory to guide her. She became a time traveller to the towns and people of her youth. In that, as in most things, she made the best of the situation she had. A Memorial Service will be held at the chapel in McDowell Village, 8300 E. McDowell Road at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 11. A private burial will be held for family. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
