Thaddeus J.

Thaddeus J. Bien "Ted" formally of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 16, 2011 at the age of 85 years young at Paradise Valley Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by a loving family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. stationed in the South Pacific during WWII, then in Japan after their surrender. He worked for Occidental "Hooker Chemical Corp" for 32 years. During a portion of his career he did some extensive traveling for the company to such places at Japan, South America, Sweden and parts of the U.S. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, pinochle, and watching the Buffalo Bills. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Laura; sons, David (Karen) of Chandler, AZ and Gary (Kathleen) of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Olivia, Katie, Stacy and Michael and great grandchildren, Caleb, Brooklyn and Jacob. He suffered through many medical hardships after his retirement and will always be remembered for his strength and courage during these times. God bless and rest in peace. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11AM and burial following at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
