Juan Carlos Cantu, Dedicated son to Ercilia and Ambrocio Cantu passed away after a tough battle with lung disease on Sunday, January 19th, 2020 at their home in Kyle. He was 43 years old.
Juan was born on October 14th, 1976 to Ercilia and Ambrocio Cantu in Galena Park, Texas, a suburb or Houston. He attended some college in Mexico before returning to Texas to follow his passion driving big rigs. He started in working for Cantu Construction 1997 with his cousin Tomas Cantu driving Bob tails and then moved to Super Dump Trucks. He loved big rigs and his collection of caps. Juan had a casual, laid back personality, which was outwardly demonstrated by his desire to only wear blue jeans, t-shirts and ball caps as well as always wearing his blue-tooth headset, a carry over from long days in the cab of his truck. He loved t cook, listen to Spanish music, follow Astros baseball and spend time with his family and dogs: Lucas, Max and Chachis.
Juan is survived by his loving parents Ercilia and Ambrocio Cantu, his sisters Sonia Cantu, Twins: Griselda Cantu and Graciela Perez and her husband Dagoberto. He will also be missed by his nieces and Nephews; Madison Valderas, Sergio Favela, Alex Vargas, Jovany Tamez and Jason and Jose Perez as well as many Uncles and Aunts.
Juan's family would like to extend a very special thank you to his cousins Tomas and Leticia Cantu for doing so much for them.
Please join us in celebrating Juan's life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Harrell Funeral Home, 1715 Kirby, Kyle, Texas with a time of visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Rosary at 5:30, immediately followed by his funeral service at 6:30 pm. Cremation will follow.
