Nancy Lee Winningham
November 14, 1948 - January 10, 2020

Nancy Lee Winningham, 71, of Maquoketa, Iowa, and formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, at her home in rural Maquoketa.

A private burial will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee. Cremation has taken place.

Nancy Lee Winningham was born on November 14, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to Mingus A. and Virginia L. (Forehand) Winningham. She grew up in Nashville and was a graduate of Central High School in Nashville.

Upon graduating from high school, Nancy began a 43-year career with the State of Tennessee's Department of Education where she helped adults receive their GED's. She retired in 2007.

She enjoyed crocheting, binge watching television shows and movies.

Those left to honor her memory include her friends and caregiver's, Brian and Lawrence Davis of Maquoketa, IA; her friend, Laurinda Boyns of Maquoketa, IA; her Dachshund dog Baby Love; and friends in the Nashville, TN area. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Mary Ferrell.
