Aaron Jason Yarolem
January 20, 1974 - December 19, 2019

Aaron J. Yarolem, 45, of Emmetsburg, Iowa, and formerly of Maquoketa, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, Iowa.

A public graveside service and burial will be held at a later date from the Hickory Grove Cemetery, rural Monmouth, Iowa. Cremation has taken place. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

Aaron Jason Yarolem was born on January 20, 1974 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Ray Duncan and Margaret Agnes "Peggy" Yarolem. He was a graduate of Maquoketa Community High School.

Aaron had worked at DAC, Inc. for several years. In recent years he had lived at Kathleen's Residential Care in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He enjoyed movies, pizza, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was loved by his family, caretaker and the residents at Kathleen's Residential Care.

He is survived by 3 aunts, Marie Yarolem of Maquoketa, IA, Majorie (Tim) Smith of St. Helens, OR, and Marcella (Jim) Nelson of Kansas City, MO; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Truman and Arlene Yarolem, and his mother Margaret "Peggy" Yarolem.

Memorial donations may be made in Aaron's name to Kathleen's Residential Care Facility, P.O. Box 279, 1505 E. 5th Street, Emmetsburg, Iowa 50536.
