Thomas M. Antoine
May 30, 1945 - November 1, 2019

Thomas Michael Antoine was born May 30, 1945, in Fort Dodge, son of James Dominic and Frances (Currans) Antoine. Tom's family lived in Ayrshire area until the summer of 1949, when they moved to Bancroft. He graduated from St. John's Catholic High School in Bancroft in 1963, and then attended Iowa State University taking Agriculture classes. Tom was married to Cheryl Walsh on March 1, 1980, and to this union two sons were born.

Farming was Tom's true passion! He was happiest driving equipment and having meals catered to him out in the field. He was known to modify his equipment and he enjoyed working in his shop. Tom loved his time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed socializing with other farmers and going to sprint car races. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, he served as a Ramsey Township trustee, and he served on the Bancroft Area Economic Development group.
Thomas Antoine died Friday, November 1, 2019, at Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, at the age of 74.

He is survived by two sons and six grandchildren, T.J. Antoine and his wife Jennay of Bancroft and their children, Morgan, Jaelyn, Nolan, Reagan, and Pierson, and Jonathen Antoine and his wife Fei of Waukee and their son Milo. He is also survived by his ex-wife Cheryl Antoine of Bancroft; his step-children, Jacki (Art) Ingalls of Bancroft, Craig Walsh of Littleton, CO, and Deb (Al) McCarthy of Parker; CO; two sisters, Karen (Bucky) Renger of Bancroft, and Rita Ray of Centennial, CO; a sister-in-law, Maxine Antoine of Bancroft; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother James Antoine; brother-in-law, Bud Ray; and a nephew, Tony Renger
