In loving memory of

Randall Eaton
October 21, 1961 - October 25, 2019

Randall Ray Eaton, 58, of Peterson, MN passed away surrounded by loved ones at Mayo Clinic in Rochester on Friday, October 25th, 2019. Randy was born in La Crosse, WI on October 21, 1961 and grew up in the Houston area. Randy "Rand" was great at so many things whether it was driving heavy equipment, working in the fields, or wrenching on a machine, he made it look easy. It was truly amazing watching him work. He loved his tractors, running his own excavation business, pushing dirt, fishing, put-put tractor rides, hay rides, fireworks, and camping. But most of all he loved spending time with "C" and his grand babies. He always had a huge grin for whoever walked in the door. He lived his life with the motto "I'm always happy to help anyone who is willing to help themselves." Randy is survived by the love of his life, Connie Kearns, Father, Larry Eaton, Son, Lee (Apryl) Eaton, Step-children Dylan Kearns, Ashley Kearns (Josh Swenson), Meghan Schossow (Brad), four grandchildren - Caylin ("The Button"), Jaxon, Austin and Julia, and his brother Sam Eaton (Tira). He also loved Willie Bunke like a father and Willie's many children and grandchildren as his own family. He is preceded in death by his mother, brother, sister, and daughter. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects November 30th at the Money Creek United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with burial at the Money Creek Cemetery. A lunch at the church will follow the burial where there will be time for fellowship and sharing.

"My sympathy to Randy's family and loved ones!!! He was a few years younger than me but boy did we have a lot of fun fun growing up! We had some great stories while he was living with Hargroves. The swinging on a rope in the hay barn that ended in a concussion to pulling Randy on a scat car behind a mini bike and breaking the scat car. The stories can be told now because the statutes of limitations have come and gone. RIP Randy!!!"

Johnie & Jerri Bellock wrote on Nov 1, 2019:

Joan Redig wrote on Nov 1, 2019:

"We are forever grateful for the pond and dike Randy and his crew built on our land at the foot of West Paradise Valley. He seemed so humble with his expertise of moving ground to the right place to accomplish the project. We think of him as we observe the wildlife and nature in general benefitting from that pond. It was always a pleasure to cross paths with him later on and is sad to learn of his passing in life too soon"
