Richard Lawrence Merchlewitz, of Winona, was born March 27, 1958 at home. On September 10, 2019, at the age of 61, he passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic Hospitals, St. Mary's Rochester Campus in Rochester with family by his side. He fought a 3 year 7 month battle against Small Cell Lung Cancer Stage 4 with metastases and Lambert Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome.
