In loving memory of

Judith "Judy" Anne Etheridge
October 6, 1942 - April 17, 2011

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

"No one ever has been too small to serve God, but many have become too big."

Judith "Judy" Etheridge was born in Heron Lake, Minnesota on October 6, 1942 to John and Eugenia "Jean" Sievert. Survivors include her daughter, Christa Flatgard; grandchildren, Brittany Phillipi and KC Flatgard; siblings, John "Doc" Sievert, Jerrie Hall, Joyce Post, Janet Koch, and Jane Caviness; and close friend, Howard Riewe.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy was a compassionate, understanding, patient, big-hearted, loving woman who open heartedly welcomed you in her life. She loved her daughter, grandchildren, family members, and friends and always had "our" backs. Judy stood up for what she believed in and/or cared about...God, family, friends, Fords, Democrats, and dogs. Judy was a very outgoing woman. She enjoyed visiting with people, crafts, sewing, coloring, and writing, but most of all enjoyed her family. Judy always found life and people beautiful and complementing and seeing the inner beauty of people. She was a woman full of life and shared hers with you. Her life included living in different places and meeting many different people.

Beating breast cancer in 2007, she resided at the Good Samaritan Society in Windom for a while before she was hospitalized at Sanford in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 68. Just her passing with a smile on her face, proved that Judy was a happy woman who found peace.

"It takes a mothers kindness to forgive
us when we err,
To sympathize in trouble and to bow
her head in prayer.
It takes a mothers wisdom to recognize our needs and to give us reassurance by her loving words and deeds."

Forever in our hearts-
