"I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as Gods word the bible. Why do people we love die? Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

"It is so hard to believe that Lucy has gone Home so soon. Lucy was loved by many because she was so lovable and endearing to those who knew her. She was a constant at our school for 6 years...she was such a hard worker and she would never say "No" when you needed something. Lucy was so much fun to be around..she would make you laugh all the time. Her compassion and care for others during their illnesses put many, many jewels in her crown. And Noe, what an awesome young man he has become, just like he was in my 3rd grade class. My prayers are for Noe and the family as they make this journey through the loss of a wonderful lady!"

"I did not know Lucy, but I had the great pleasure of teaching her son, Noe, English for just a little while. My deepest condolences go out to him and the rest of the Diaz-Weaver family. One can tell the warmth of the woman through the thoughtful, funny, and poetic young man she raised. Indeed, the world has lost someone special. Many prayers for peace in what I know is a heart wrenching time,Barbara Lane"

"Lucy is one of the few beautiful people, inside and out, in my life. She not only deserved respect but earned it a million fold in her life's endeavors. She created a fantastic and gifted young man, Noe. She mentioned Noe in each of our conversations which is evidence and proof of her maternal greatness. Each and every room that she entered was immediately filled with brightness emanating from her natural aura and truely caring nature. God has blessed us with Lucy and now she returns as a five star general in His army of angels. I have and will continue thanking God for blessing me with Lucy and Noe in my life. God, please nurture and be with Noe and the entire Diaz family in this time of loss. Amen and Praise Be To God."

"Lucy was one of my dearest friends at Texas State in San Marcos (then SWTSU). I remember spending most of our entire Spring Break together working on our projects at the Art printing lab and then hanging out at the local Mexican food restaurant -- that's when I knew we'd be friends for life! Our visits became less frequent over the years, but we always picked up like no time had gone by when we did get together. I truly treasure the memories. All my love to the Diaz-Weaver family."
