In loving memory of

Rachael Elizabeth Butts
April 14, 1989 - August 19, 2015

Rachael Elizabeth Butts, born April 14, 1989 in Tampa FL. passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 18, 2015 in New Braunfels, Texas. Rachael was in advanced classes since elementary school. She attended Newsome High School in Lithia Fl. She was in the " Who's Who Among American High School Students". She was the recruiter on the first girl's golf team at that high school. She finished up her high school years at Westbrook High School in Beaumont, TX. She couldn't wait to move to Austin to attend the University of Texas and become a Longhorn. In true Rachael fashion, she made the Dean's List the very first year. She was employed at Lincoln Property Co. as the Regional Director of Learning and Talent Development. We were blessed with Rachael's larger than life presence for 26 years. She loved her friends, she loved her family, and she loved life. She was brilliant, kindhearted, unique, gorgeous, quirky, free spirited, complicated, a witty fashionista, and had an infectious smile bigger than Texas. She loved exploring, music, art, journaling, and inspirational quotes. She loved riding her Harley, loved the beach, and loved the river. She had more bikinis than most women had shoes. She loved books, romantic movies and rock hunting. And let's not forget, shopping for those bikinis. I can see her moving through those racks, unaware of that huge smile on her own face. That huge, huge smile. Please let the memory of her smile and laughter fill your hearts with joy.
Rachael is survived by Father and Stepmother, Greg and Susan Butts; Mother, Sherry Lovett; Siblings, Ava Lovett, Brandy Hunt and Husband Jeremy, Kristin Bell, Christopher Bell and Wife Stephanie; Paternal Grandmother, Brownie Butts; Maternal Grandfather, James Coker and Wife Sharyn; Aunts, Jacqui Coker, Debbie and Pan Butts, Alison Malone and Husband Giles, Mercedes White; Uncle, Lt. Col. Steven Coker and wife Julie; Cousins, Michael, Megan, Victoria, and Grace Malone, Tammy Taylor and Husband Steve, Sierra Thomasset, Matthew Coker and Tiffani McInnis.
She is preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather, Bobby (Pappy) Butts; Maternal Grandmother, Linda Lindsey; Aunt, Kim Langwell.
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Monday evening, August 24, 2015 at Harrell Funeral Home, Kyle, TX

"Prayers to the Butts family. Rachael had the larger than life positive attitude than anyone I've ever met. We started working for LPC at the same time and I will always have great memories of our training sessions that turned into giggle fests, starting our Sgt. Pepper book club and riding to ACL on her Harley together. With a smile and laugh that could brighten any day, she always had words of wisdom and positivity when I or someone was feeling low. You could always count on a hug from Rachael that lasted just those few seconds more. She was a beauty inside and out. Farewell to an angel from heaven."
