"For the last few years, Chris and I became like brothers. Able to share a companionable silence as much as watching a game or a race together, as we both dealt with our circumstances. Almost every night we would log on together and talk and talk to our families through the computer. Our wives would just shake their heads in amazement how much we were alike. Our likes, dislikes, what we enjoyed. Our love of movies and tv shows. On what turned out to be one of the saddest days of my long life he had just texted me a picture of the Cheers boxset. He was preparing to watch. I love so much talking to Kathleen, Constantine (Tino), and Seeley while Chris and I played video games. I will always cherish our vacation together at the Alamo. I promise brother that I will always look in on the boys and Kat. Tracy and I love you and miss you."

"Words can not express the shock and lost we feel at Chris's passing. I missed the laugh and fun we have together. And the help you and Cat gave our family. Chris, you are a good friend, one of the few I have, and you will be missed. Chieh"

"Hard to know what to say. Chris was a solid generous friend. He knew that he was prickly on the outside, but he also knew he was a teddy bear on the inside. He was thoughtful and caring and he will be missed."

"Dear family. Our family and friends can provide us with comfort in times like this. But there is another source of comfort, the most important one. Read 2 Corinthians 3,4 for details. Yes the God of all comfort is ready to comfort you. So draw close to Him in prayers and He will comfort all of you beyond imagination."

"Chris will be sorely missed here at Cypress Semiconductor. I first met Chris when I joined the Austin product engineering team in 2006, and gradually got used to this really talented software engineer with vinegar in his personality! I also remember when he stopped coming regularly to work, he had installed a motion detecting camera in his cube, which caught an after-hours thief here. He made major strides in improving the working lives of the engineering team here, and was always very quick to respond to any requests. I will miss him personally very much. - Jerry Harvey, Director, Yield Engineering"

"Chris, I'll miss you. I'll miss talking about computers with you. I'll miss your biting sense of irreverent humor. I'll miss quoting Star Wars with you. I'll miss hearing your dreams for your boys. Chris, we are all lessened by your passing, but for myself, I'll miss my friend the most."

"Chris is my cousin & will certainly be missed!! My most recent memory, because he lived so far away, was actually 9 years ago when he drove my husband & I to our hotel from our reception on our wedding night. He was out of town, had just met my husband for the first time, but selflessly gave us a ride in the rain. He was kindhearted & giving! May he be rejoicing in heaven at this very moment- love you Chris!!!"
