"Lit a candle in memory of Amos Steven Frei"
Amos Steven Frei passed peacefully in his sleep on February 15, 2017. Amos was born on August 18, 2016. During his five months on earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by his friends and family. Amos enjoyed being held by his parents, playing with his toys, staying active, and reading his books. He had the best smile and laughed more than he cried. We rejoice in the fact that Amos will spend the rest of eternity in the arms of Jesus. He will always remain his parents precious baby, and they look forward to holding him again in heaven.
Amos is the son of Seth and Brynn Frei of San Marcos, TX. He is the grandson of paternal grandparents Steve Grandpa and Jan Grammy Frei of Madison, WI; and maternal grandparents William Papa and Bonny Omi Parker of Maple Grove, MN. His paternal great-grandparents are Gene and Joyce Frei of Sun Prairie, WI. Amos was also loved by his aunts and uncles: Ross and Carly Frei of Des Moines, IA; Ian Frei and significant other Sarah Coen-Tuff of Chicago, IL; and William Everett Parker and fiance Kristen Engelke of Victoria, MN.
The Austin Stone KIDS ministry provided Amos with love and care throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, we would be honored to have you support their ministry in teaching and showing children the love of Jesus. Gifts can be sent to The Austin Stone Community Church, 313 Anderson Lane, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78752. Please put South KIDS-Amos in the memo line.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday February 21st, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 325 McCarty Ln., San Marcos, TX, with visitation from 5:30-6:15 p.m. preceding the service.

"Dear Brynn and Seth, Nothing can take away the light that Amos brought your life and to so many others. I can tell that he got to touch so many in his life in a way that few of us can. "Dear Seth and Brynn, We are deeply saddened by the loss of Amos. It has been our privilege to be your friends these last few years and to get to know him. He brought joy and light with his presence and he will not be forgotten. Love, Danielle & Patrick"
"Seth & Brynn - We were so saddened to hear of your loss and can't begin to comprehend what you are going through. We are upholding you in prayer. We often smiled at the thought of Seth being a "daddy" and often stated out loud how "we were so happy for you" even though we had not yet met Amos. We have no doubt Jesus is bouncing Amos on his knee in heaven and that Amos walks among the angels. We pray that the peace that surpasses all understanding upholds you in this time -- we will continue to pray for an overwhelming abundance of that peace. We share in you in your sadness - you do not walk alone....nancy & Artie"
"Brynn and Seth, there are no words that seem right for such a devastating loss. We heard all about your little Amos through the eyes of your proud parents (and yes, pictures too), and know how loved he was by all of you. May you find some peace in knowing who holds him now, and the promise of eternal life. We will continue praying for you. All our love, Mike and Jeanine Ronning"

"Dear Brynn and Seth, My heart aches for you. I'm grateful to have met Amos and to have spent an evening in his presence. Amos was as pure as the freshly fallen snow that December evening. I will treasure the time I held him in my arms always. May you come to know peace through the strong faith you both carry. With you in spirit, Elizabeth"
"Seth and Brynn, No words can adequately express the deep sorrow we feel for your loss. Please know you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. Amos' beautiful smile lit up a room and brought joy to those with him. Love and prayers to you, Uncle Tom, Aunt Beth, Kim, and Mike"
"Seth and Brynn, We just don't have any words to tell you how sorry we are. Amos was a beautiful baby, and you should know he brought a lot of joy to Wisconsin. His great-grandpa shared his memory of Amos in their new apartment sleeping in December, and said that he will always remember how pretty he looked and how proud he was of you both as parents. They treasure the beautiful pictures you gave to them. We hope you can find some comfort knowing you will hold him again someday. We all send our prayers and love to you, Uncle Phil & Aunt Sandy"
