Juan M. Figueroa; kind and generous, loving and doting father and husband of 43 years, passed away unexpectedly at Seton Medical Center in Kyle on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the age of 71.

Juan was born Thursday, November 21, 1946, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Delfina Figueroa and Julian Gonzalez. He attended school in Guadalajara. While in Guadalajara Juan worked as a bus driver from 1969 to 1978. In 1979, Juan moved to the United States and settled in the Los Angeles, Lynwood area of California where he lived for 27 years. He moved to Kyle, Texas with his family in 2006.

Juan enjoyed listening to classic Mexican music and loved to watch soccer. He was very friendly and was always to willing to help others.

Juan leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years Guillermina Figueroa, his four children; Bernice Figueroa of San Pedro, California, Juan M. Figueroa Jr. of Jalisco, Mexico, Ivan Figueroa of Wimberley, Texas and Christopher Figueroa of Kyle,

Please join us in celebrating Juan's wonderful life starting with a visitation on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm at Harrell Funeral Home 1715, Kirby, Kyle, Texas, followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 pm also at Harrell's Funeral Home. Rejoin his family on Monday, November 5th, 2018 at 10:00 am for Juan's funeral mass at St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church, 801 Burleson St, Kyle, TX with interment following at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.

"Me siento tan triste de lo sucedido es algo que nadie puede hacer para curar ese dolor tan grande en la familia Figueroa. Le pido a Dios que les de la fortaleza y resignacin en especial a mi ms querida amiga Berenice, sus hermanos, y a Doa Guille que tanto respeto y admiro. Siempre voy a recordar a Don Manuel con una sonrisa, cada vez que yo y Berenice platicbamos de nuestros paps era como hablar de la misma persona eran tan pares idos en sus modos. "I am at a total loss of words of what to write or say to console for the loss of your father. Its very shocking to hear the sad news. The time I had to spend with your dad, he shared a lot of his growing up stories in Mexico. Such a small world on how he was my grandmothers sisters neighbor in Jalisco. Your dad was a great man, full of integrity, family man, good husband to your mother as well as a good grandfather to his grandchildren. Your dad had a BIG heart, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was so friendly (enjoyed talking) and very welcoming. I admire the way he lived his life. I am glad I was given the opportunity to know him and change a few words with him. I know Losing your dad is extremely difficult because you are losing a source of strength, stability and consistency in your life. "My uncle Juan was the most loving person you can meet! Family was always everything for him, not only was he a honest,loving, caring, he was also a hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with family and always role model for anyone who knew him!! Coming from nothing & giving the life he did to his family is very impressive not anyone can do what he had done!
