Duke M. Glenn
Duke McCreight Glenn, a beloved father of Robert, Jacqueline, and Jocelyn, went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2018. Mack was born on December 4, 1921, in Call, TX. He was a descendant of Stephen Williams, Thomas C. (Goldie) Holmes, and other patriots from the American Revolution to the Siege of Bexar.
He was a Deacon in the First Baptist Church of Buda, having first been ordained in Blessing, TX. He remained very active until illness prevented further participation. Mack was a World War II veteran in the United States Army-Air Corp from December 14, 1940, to October 20, 1945. He served in Burma, India, and Puerto Rico. While stationed in Puerto Rico, he met and married Norma, his lovely war bride. Upon honorable discharge, he worked for Sun Oil Company for 36 years in Texas and Louisiana, on land and offshore.
The family is deeply grateful to Peggy Culp and her husband Bob, who provided loving care in support for the family during the last 10 years of Macks life, and to members of Heart to Heart Hospice.
Survivors include son Robert M. Glenn and wife Linda of League City, TX; daughter Jacqueline Willis of Creedmoor, TX; daughter Jocelyn Henderson and husband Daniel of Edgewood, NM. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Tony Elliott; and sister-in-law Ferrel Ann Glenn.

"Sorry for your loss. Your family always treated me so well, like I was one of you. Jackie and Jocelyn you were like sisters and your mom and dad were so sweet and fun. Even though it has been over 50 years since I have seen ya'll, you have always held a place in my heart.

"Jackie and family,
I just watched the tribute video and loved it! I started off smiling bc I saw your dads big smile and twinkling eyes that I always remember him having when I saw him. By mid video I was bawling bc I saw how much he was loved and know it is very hard on all of you not having him here to make more memories. I know his eyes are still twinkling and his smile is even bigger now that he has returned home to our maker and rejoined all his loved ones that went on before him. He loved you and you loved him, its so hard to say goodbye. I hope it gets easier for you. Love you always! Karla"
