""I was a Captain riding District Car 4 fighting a residential garage fire. When Brady, the Battalion Chief, arrived he directed me to a certain position in the structure. I resisted saying it was "too hot." He was adamant saying, "Give me that hose" and moved to where he had told me to go. When fighting the fire was over on his way to his Chief's car he stopped by the District Car and told me, "Next time you tell me it's too hot, make me believe it -- I almost burned up in there." That was Brady - brave, decisive. and totally honest. He was an accomplished firefighter and a valued friend."
